Chuí

Chuí is a Vegetarian restaurant in Mexico City (Roma Norte), $$; open Mon–Sat 10:00–00:00; Sun 10:00–22:00; book at https://www.opentable.com/r/chui-ciudad-de-mexico.

Hidden-garden restaurant in Roma Norte (Buenos Aires import) serving an entirely vegetarian, wood-fire-driven seasonal menu. Chuí occupies a converted warehouse on Calle Orizaba, tucked behind an unassuming graffiti wall that opens into a lush 700 sqm garden (design by Abel Perles). Led by Argentine chef Rodrigo Vázquez (ex-Alvear, Faena) and executive chef Kenyi Heanna, the Buenos Aires original carries a Michelin Guide mention and 50 Best Discovery nod. The entirely vegetarian menu is built around fire and wood -- smoke, oven, and coals -- applied to seasonal, locally sourced vegetables and ferments, plus house-baked bread and wood-fired pizzas, alongside natural wine, craft cocktails, and fresh juices.
